I have always been fascinated with the basic elements that make up visual images. I look for compositions of line and form or texture and color that intrigue the eye and evoke emotional response. Whether in the close-up views of weathered rail car graffiti which I have explored for the past several years or in the new work I am doing with film grain and abstracted imaging, I continue to seek new views of reality, new ways of seeing the world around (and within) us.
